Co-founder, Successful Chaos® | Overland Park, KS

Bryan Sarff spent the first half of his career working inside businesses, not advising them.

He started in the Army Reserves as a field medic. Seven years of service, honorable discharge 1997. The GI Bill paid for Mizzou. From there: GE Transportation Division, then seven years inside Lear Corporation's manufacturing and distribution network. Plant turnarounds. A new seat assembly facility built from scratch. A distribution center in complete disarray, where three people before him had quit, that he turned around in seven months.

He knows what it looks like when a business is successful on the outside and fragile on the inside. He's been the person walking in to fix it.

That experience shapes everything about how he works with business owners today.

Bryan founded True Wealth & Company in 2012 — opened the doors on National Slurpee Day, July 11, 2013. Spent the next decade building the Chief of Staff model alongside his partner Kenny Burkhead, growing the practice to a team of seven before merging with intellicents in 2024. intellicents is one of the largest independent RIAs in the country, with $10B under management and 38 advisors.

He also co-founded myTrueHR, a PEO built for the same business owners he advises, and holds an ownership stake in Recreation Construction Group.

Today Bryan is the strategic lead for Successful Chaos® engagements. His work is focused on the 3 to 7 year runway before a sale, succession, or step-back. He holds the CFP® and CEPA® designations. He hosts the Successful Chaos® podcast. And he's writing the book.

His job is to make sure business owners arrive at their exit with real options. Not a forced timeline. Not a fire drill. Real options, built deliberately.

If you've built something real and you're not sure what it's actually worth, or what it would take to protect it, that's where the work starts.

The GAP Assessment is free. 60 to 90 minutes. No commitment.
